Only thing that lets the place down is it looks pretty tired now and could really do with a refurb. Won't make the chips taste any better though I suppose. ”

“ Visiting Chipmunk Fish & Chips, we were truly impressed by what this modest restaurant has to offer. As soon as we walked in, we noticed that this place is very popular – the long queue only confirmed our expectations about the quality of the food. The first thing that caught our attention was the really large portions at a very affordable price. For a small sum, we received a solid portion of fish and chips that will surely satisfy the biggest hunger. We cannot fail to mention the delicious fries, which stand out with their buttery flavor and excellent quality potatoes. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – the perfect combination. The fish served was juicy and fresh, and its taste was complemented by a super crispy batter. Every bite was a real pleasure for the palate. My son, who is quite picky, ate the whole large portion and was delighted with both the taste of the fish and the fries. His enthusiasm only confirmed that we chose an excellent place for lunch. An additional advantage of this place was the very friendly service. The staff were very polite, helpful, and always smiling. Thanks to them, we felt very welcome and comfortable. We were passing through this area during our holiday and already know that we will definitely return to Chipmunk Fish & Chips at every opportunity. This was undoubtedly the best fish and chips we have ever had. The whole experience, from service to food, was top-notch. The ladies that serve are nice kind and respectful and you'll not find yourself waiting around, these girls are on the ball with your orders. The food is always hot when you get it home and it's cooked to perfection. They also do lots more than just the standard chippy meal. And you can also pay by card. Top Mark's for a top chip shop. ”
